The multiple award winning Odysseus North Texas Chamber Orchestra presents a fun filled evening of Frank Sinatra and friends, featuring hits from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior. The dynamic trio known as the Rat Pack has wowed and captivated audiences for generations past, present and future. The orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Jason Lim will collaborate with Las Vegas singer and entertainer Teddy Davey.

Among Teddy’s extensive singing career, he is an Undermain Company Member with collaborations of Vinegar Tom, Poor Folk’s Pleasure, Nightcoil, Cabaret Epiphany, Goose and Tomtom, Red Plays, Camino Real, The Castle, The Possibilities, A Child’s Christmas in Wales, and The Conference of the Birds.  Teddy has also directed and adapted works like Comedy of Errors and Venus and Adonis. Teddy has also worked with Dallas Theater Center and Dallas Shakespeare and received the Rabin Award for his work in The Three Cuckolds.

In Las Vegas,Teddy was resident singer at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Las Vegas for two year, lead player in “BA DA BING!” for 2 ½ years at the Stardust, Aladdin, Orleans in Las Vegas. He was one of the original Gondolier crew at the Venetian and fronted “The KOKOMO Show” for 18 months at Harrah’s in Las Vegas. Teddy is also one of the original “Las Vegas Tenors”.  Five years ago. He bought The Balcony Club in Dallas (www.balconyclub.com). It has since been recognized as the Best Jazz Bar by local and national press including, USA Today, The Dallas Morning News, D Magazine, The Dallas Observer, and Esquire.

These performances will showcase original arrangements of the jazzy big band sound accompanied by the serenity of the lush string showcasing hits like New York, New York, The Way You Look Tonight, Begin the Beguine, I’ve got the World on a sting and many more.

The Odysseus North Texas Chamber Orchestra has taken 3rd Prize in the 2016-2017 American Prize Competition for Professional Orchestras while it's Artistic Director and Conductor, Jason Lim was awarded 1st Prize in the Professional Conductor's competition.  The orchestra was formed in 2012 in Denton, but moved to McKinney as its home base and has steadily made an impact to the community, bringing wonderful music to the city and its citizens. 

The orchestra would like to thank The City of McKinney and The McKinney Arts Commission for its continuous support since 2014 when the orchestra decided to call McKinney home. Because of the commitment to community the orchestra has developed many outreach and education programs and starting next season the Odysseus Orchestra has formed a new exciting youth orchestra that will serve the North Texas/ Collin County region.
