Faith Family Academy is proud to announce the new district leadership roles for Mr. Omar Ramos and Dr. Marcus Canonico for the new school year. The positions are as follows:

Mr. Ramos is now the Assistant Superintendent of School Leadership and Student Wellness, overseeing campus leadership and the new mental health grant initiative. Mr. Ramos joined Faith Family Academy in 2022 as our Oak Cliff Elementary principal after nearly 16 years as a high school principal and six years as a secondary school leadership director in Fort Worth ISD. He has 40 years of experience as a classroom teacher and administrator. He has a master’s degree from Texas A&M University – Kingsville and a bachelor's degree from Texas State University.

Dr. R. Marcus Canonico is the new Executive Director of Athletics, CTE and Extra Curricular. He will also serve as the Title IX Coordinator. Dr. Canonico has nearly three decades of experience in K – 12 public education, military service and an early career as an attorney. He joined Faith Family Academy in 2022 as our Oak Cliff Middle School principal. Dr. Canonico brings his vast expertise as a high school coach, Career and Technical Education director, and campus administrator to his new position. He has an Ed. D. from Abilene Christian University, Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University.
