The Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas (CLEAT) today announced their endorsement of conservative John Wray, candidate for State Representative.  Wray is seeking the Republican nomination in Texas House District 10, which is open after the retirement of Jim Pitts.  HD 10 encompasses all of Ellis County and part of Henderson County.

CLEAT President Sgt. Todd Harrison lauded Wray’s qualifications. “John Wray is the best man for the job,” said Harrison. “He understands law enforcement.  I know he will always fight to pass laws that will keep our families and neighborhoods safe.”

“I am honored to have this top law enforcement endorsement,” said Wray.  “I look forward to working with them to keep our men and women in blue safe while they’re out protecting us. They are the reason Ellis and Henderson Counties are wonderful places to live and raise our families.”

CLEAT joins Wray’s formidable list of endorsements, including former primary opponent Jake Ellzey, Texas Alliance for Life, Life PAC, and the Ellis-Hill Association of REALTORS. Wray also received an A-Rating from the National Rifle Association and Texas State Rifle Association.

The runoff election is May 27th with early voting occurring from May 19th to May 23rd.  For more information on John Wray’s platform and values, please visit WrayforTexas.com or Facebook.com/JohnWrayForTexas.
